Wizard: Quick Access to Configuration

The Wizard Page in Caction helps make setup easier by displaying all important settings in one place. Instead of clicking through different menu navigations , user can use the Wizard Page to quickly access and manage key setup areas related to Customer, Project, Job Comments, Digital Forms, Assets, and Product/Services.

  • Easy to follow – perfect for new users or anyone setting up the system.
  • Keeps things organized – follow a clear flow and avoid missing steps.

 

Here’s how to get started:

Note: If you encounter a permission error or cannot open the page, please contact your system administrator. Access to the Wizard is limited to specific user roles for security and control purposes.

 

  1. At the desktop site navigation bar, go to Wizard.

    *Note: Please contact your Admin if you do not have access to this page. Only few users are allowed to have access to the Wizard page.

  2. Click to select the menu.

  3. After selecting the menu, click on the sub-menu.

  4. Click on the “Save” icon after editing to save your changes.

  5. Click “Previous” if you wish to access the previous sub-menu page while clicking “Next” if you wish to access the next sub-menu page.

    Tips for Better Setup

    📅 Plan Ahead: Before diving into the settings, have a clear idea of what changes you want to make. This will help you move quickly through the steps.

    💾 Save Frequently: Always click the Save icon after making changes to ensure your progress is not lost.

    📝 Use Descriptive Names: When editing templates or categories, use clear and descriptive names to avoid confusion later.

    🔍 Review Changes: After saving, double-check your settings to ensure everything looks good. It’s easier to correct mistakes right away.

    🔄 Stay Consistent: Keep your settings aligned with your team's workflow to avoid discrepancies in how things are documented or used.
