Updates on the System is not reflecting on my Mobile App?

If you have some difficulties on seeing the updates made by your Admin on the System from the app, you may follow through this page here on how to fix the issue.

 

Why is this happening?

The Caction Mobile App works in tandem with the Caction system on desktop to allow seamless collaboration and communication in between staffs and admins of the company. 

This however brought up the possibility of the Admins making changes on the system that may affect the app while it was in use. As such, the App was built in a way that it will hold any system changes from taking place until the App is restarted. 



What should I do?

  1. Swipe off the Caction App and reopen it.
    When there are any system changes done by admins, what you would need to do is to close the app entirely and reopen it once again. 

    Closing the app may be different from devices to devices, so you may follow the guide below on how to close the app on iPhone iOS, Android and Huawei.


    iOS (iPhones)

    From the Home Screen, swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause in the middle of the screen. After that, swipe up on the Caction app’s preview to close it. 




    Android and Huawei

    Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to open Recent Apps, then swipe the app’s window up (or sideways, depending on your device) to close it.

    or

    On the navigation bar at the bottom of your screen, tap the Overview icon on the left to view all open apps. Locate the Caction app, then swipe up on its window to close it.

     

     

  2. Check your Caction App Version and Update as necessary.

    Some changes on the Caction app may only be available on the latest version of the app. The app will notify you if there is a newer version of the app that is available for update.

 

 

 

You can tap on the 'Open Play Store/App Store' button and it will redirect you to the respective app gallery, which will then allow you to update the app accordingly.

 

Once this has been done, you can reopen the Caction Mobile App once again and you will be able to see the system changes/updates done by the admin.


For Admins, do take note to always inform your team whenever any changes has been made so that everyone is aware to reopen the app to have the latest system settings showing on their screen.
