Your dashboard has one tab that is always there, Explore, plus a few focus tabs that depend on your data, and the Insight tab (Beta). This page explains what each tab is for and how to check a number before you act on it.

Explore — look at anything in your data
Explore is always the first tab. The AI reads your data and builds the charts it finds most useful: jobs, customers, equipment and people. It skips a chart when your data has too little in it to say something, so the set of charts grows as your records grow.
- Filter by date range, job category, job status, customer, equipment or person.
- Select a bar or a point on any chart. The dashboard filters to that slice and shows a small filter box at the bottom left.
- Select View jobs in that box to see the jobs behind the number.
- Select Clear all to go back to the full view.
Use Explore when you have a question and want to dig until you find the jobs behind it.

Focus tabs — only when your data shows something
Focus tabs appear between Explore and Insight. Their names depend on your data. Examples: Backlog, People, Coverage, Unplanned, Asset health.
- The AI adds a focus tab when it finds a pattern that needs a closer look. It groups the related tables and charts under that tab.
- If a tab is missing, the AI found nothing strong enough in that area. This is normal.
- Charts on a focus tab are for reading. Each focus tab has its own job list and its own filters. A filter on one tab does NOT change another tab.

Insight — a short report written by the AI (Beta)
The Insight tab works like a data analyst. It reads your data and writes a short report: the main finding first, then a numbered list of findings with the reason behind each one. Select How this was worked out under a finding to see the method.
- The report does not change by itself. Select Regenerate insights to write a new one. Each regeneration uses AI credits.
- The Insight tab is in Beta.

Check before you act
*Note: AI Insight is an early AI tool. It can misread your data or draw a wrong conclusion. Treat every finding as a question to check, not a fact. Open View jobs and confirm the numbers before you act on them or share them.
