🧠 Why Use Dropdown Fields?
Standardize data entry across Jobs, Projects, and Customers — making it easier to filter, search, and report on key information. They reduce human error, speed up form completion, and improve consistency compared to free-text input fields.
Whether you're categorizing customers by type, tagging projects by region, or specifying job priorities, dropdowns ensure that everyone speaks the same language in your system.
This guide walks you through how to create, manage, and apply dropdown fields to your templates across different data levels in Caction.
