How to Enable or Disable IMEI Login Check (Device Change Detection)?

3 min. readlast update: 05.14.2025

IMEI Login Check (Device Changing Detection) prevents fraudulent logins to a user account from another mobile device without approval. When IMEI Login Check is enabled, the Admin must approve the login to ensure it is done by the respective account holder. This feature can be enabled for specific user accounts or every user account in the system.

Benefits:

  • Verifies that the right technician or engineer is performing the work, supporting a more reliable system of record-keeping.
  • Helps protect against theft or loss by ensuring the device cannot be activated on a network.
  • Ensures that the person logged in and performing tasks is the actual user, reducing the chances of someone else doing the work on their behalf.
