How to Copy Job? | Help Center

The Copy Job feature allows users to instantly duplicate existing job records, eliminating the need to manually re-enter redundant data when setting up similar or recurring field tasks.

Why Use Copy Job?

Copy Job helps solve manual re-entry. This prevents operational fatigue and human error caused by manually filling out complex forms, custom fields, and user assignments for repetitive jobs.
Copy Job accelerates job creation as it creates fully populated jobs in a single click, speeding up workflow dispatch for operations teams
Copy Job preserves workflow consistency. It retains linked customer sites, assets, digital form values, attachments, and user access configurations across duplicate tasks.

How to Navigate to the Function?

Open the target job page you wish to duplicate.
Click the three-dots menu (...) in the top-right corner of the job header.
Select Copy Job from the dropdown menu.
The system will immediately generate the duplicate job and open it directly in edit mode, allowing you to update specific dates, assigned team members, or field details before saving.

What is Copied Over?

Logs and comments	No	Historical chat notes, user comments, and system activity updates are excluded.

How Will the Repeat Job Function Work?

When copying a job with recurring schedule rules are enabled, the system duplicates those parameters in full.

Example: If the original job is set to repeat daily from September 18 to September 22, the copied job automatically inherits that exact daily schedule rule and date range. Once opened in edit mode, you can retain or modify these recurring settings as needed.
