How to Attach address using Latitude & Longitude in Mobile?

Why this option is available?

In certain cases, using Latitude and Longitude (LaLo) provides a more accurate way to identify a location while on the go. This option is useful when:

The address is not accurate or incomplete on mobile map apps – Manually placing a pin allows users to mark the exact or nearest point to the actual location, helping the system retrieve a more precise address.
The address cannot be found due to location restrictions – For example, when searching for a location outside your current state or country (e.g., outside Malaysia) on your mobile device, map services may not return relevant results. Using LaLo bypasses this limitation. By entering Latitude and Longitude on your mobile device, users ensure higher accuracy and flexibility in capturing the location, especially in remote or newly developed areas when working in the field.

Here's a step-by-step tutorial on how to attach an address using Latitude & Longitude in mobile :

At the mobile app's navigation bar, navigate to Customer List Page and select the customer who requires an address to be added.

Click the three dot icon in the top right corner and select Edit.
In the Address section, click "Add New Address".
Open Google Maps App and navigate to your desired location on Google Maps.
Press and hold on the desired location to mark it on the map. The coordinates (latitude, longitude) will be displayed (e.g., 3.0540662, 101.5994493). Click the coordinates to copy it.
Open the Caction App and paste the address into the search box.

Verify the location details:

- - If the address result is correct: Click "Confirm"
  - If the address result is incorrect: Check the pin location and retry

After confirming the coordinates, then can enter the actual name for the location.

- Click the "Save" button to store the address information.

The New Address will be created in the 'Address' section. Click the 'save' button to save it into the system.
