FSM | Asset QR: Generating and Unattaching QR Code

What Is Asset QR?

An Asset QR is a QR code generated for a specific asset. Any Public Form submission made through this code is automatically linked to that asset’s record, providing instant data traceability for internal teams.

1. How to Generate QR for Asset?

Using Desktop

1. At the desktop site navigation bar, go to Business Management > Asset List.
   Open Asset List Here: https://system.caction.com/asset-list 

2. On the Asset List page, click the asset that you want to generate the QR code.

3. Click on the three dot icon.

4. Click "Generate QR".
   Note: If you don't see "Generate QR" button, please contact your admin for access.

5. The QR Code is generated and displayed. You can "Print QR", "Copy Link" or "Download QR" using the buttons as shown below to share the QR Code.

Using Mobile

1. At the mobile app’s navigation bar, go to Home. 
2. On Home page, click "Asset" under General section. 
3. Click on the three dot icon. 
4. Click "Generate QR Code". 
5. The Asset QR Code has been generated and a success is displayed.

2. How to Unattach QR for Asset?

1. At the desktop site navigation bar, go to Company Settings > QR Code Setting Dashboard.
   Open QR Code Setting Dashboard Here: https://system.caction.com/QRcodeSetting/QRManage 

2. On the QR Code Setting Dashboard page, click "Unattach" button on the Asset QR Code that you want to unattach.

3. Click the "Yes" button on the prompt.
   Note: The "Yes" button has a three second countdown before you can click to perform the action that may be irreversible.

4. Once unattached, you will be redirected to Unassigned section of QR Code Setting Dashboard page. On this page, you can view the list of unattached QR Code.
