Benefits of Conflict Check on Schedule

Performing a conflict check before assigning tasks helps you and the team by:

  • Avoid double-booking: Ensures a user is not assigned multiple tasks at the same time.

  • Improve efficiency: Reduces task overlap and scheduling confusion.

  • Better resource management: Helps managers allocate work effectively.

  • Clear visibility of user workload: Allows admins to see if the user already has an ongoing task at the selected date/time, helping them make informed scheduling decisions.

How to do Conflict Check on Web

Step 1: Log in to the system via your web browser.


Step 2: Navigate to the page where you create or manage a job (e.g., Job Schedule)


Step 3: Go to the Assign User section for the job.

Step 4: Select the user(s) you want to assign to the job by ticking the checkbox next to their names


Step 5: Tap the Conflict Check button (at the bottom-right corner).


Step 6: A pop-up window will appear, displaying any conflicting job in a card view with job details.


Step 7: Review the conflicting job carefully.
Step 8: Decide whether to adjust the schedule or proceed with assignment.

Note: Even if a conflict is detected, the system still allows the job to be created and assigned. Users can proceed with the assignment while being aware of any overlapping tasks.

 


How to do Conflict Check on App

Step 1: Log in to the system via your phone. You will land directly on the Schedule page.


Step 2: Tap the red plus button at the bottom-right corner to start creating a new job.
Step 3: Go to the Assign User section of the job creation page and tap the red plus button.


Step 4: You will be redirected to the Duty Roster page.

Step 5: Select the user(s) you want to assign to the job by ticking the checkbox next to their names


Step 6: Tap the Check for Conflict button at the bottom of the page.


Step 7: A pop-up window will appear, displaying any conflicting job in a card view with job details.


Step 8: Review the conflicts and decide whether to reschedule or proceed with the assignment.

Note: Even if a conflict is detected, the system still allows the job to be created and assigned. Users can proceed with the assignment while being aware of any overlapping tasks.

 


Optional Tips for Users:

  • Always review the card view details carefully before proceeding.

  • If a conflict exists, consider communicating with the assigned user to avoid overload.

  • Use conflict check as a guide, not a strict block—sometimes overlapping tasks are manageable.
